1. Gas pressure regulator - Regulates gas pressure to main burner. Factory set for specific BTU requirements.
2. Solenoid gas valve - Safety valve to provide complete shutdown of gas flow to burner.
3. Modulating gas valve - Controls gas flow to attain desired temperature which is set via the temperature selector.
4. Manual shut off valve - Provides manual shut off of gas flow to burner.
5. Manifold pressure tap - Provides access to measure gas pressure at the burner.
6. Motor contactor/Overload - Optional motor contactor to start blower for units not connected to a Empire prewire package.
7. Grounding lug - Provides attachment point for unit ground wires.
8. Terminal blocks - Provides attachment point for unit control wires.
9. Heat/No heat switch - Allows selection of tempered or untempered make up air.
10. Flame safety device - Provides automatic ignition and flame out protecton.
11. Airflow switch - Safety device to insure proper airflow during burner operation. In the event of a loss of airflow the gas will be shut off.
12. Transformer - Provides low voltage for temperature control.
13. Modulating amplifier - Regulates output temperature via discharge air sensor and modulating gas valves.
14. Ignition module - Provides power to spark ignitor to initiate flame when heat mode is selected.
15. High temperature limit control - Shuts off gas to burner when the outlet air temperature exceeds safe operating levels.
16. Temperature selector - Allows the selection of the desired output temperature.
